The All-Russia exhibition of dogs took place on September, 19, 2004 in Kolomna

Dogbreeders have only a few favourite exhibitions they are looking forward to take part in as they willingly expect pleasant meetings and a kind attitude towards themselves we all need in our life.

“Autumn legend” is one of unique exhibitions like those. Professional refereeing, precise work of ring brigades are certainly accompanied with an affable attitude to all the participants without any exceptions, an attentive listening to all the requests, bewilderments and problems and an indispensable free-of-charge meal for all those who get hungry - tasty sandwiches, hot tea or fruit drinks. To tell you the truth, I have never seen exhibitions like these.

The place of the exhibition varied in the course of time; from a monobreed exhibition “ Autumn legend” advanced; this year it has received the All-Russia status, gathering about 400 dogs, more than 50 breeds, including pedigree groups. Competent experts: E.V.Bauzhes, M.V.Gerasimov, E.S.Kuplyauskas. R.R.Homasuridze (who was also the arbitrator in “Best in Show”), were the referees. All the participants, as well as the guests of the feast, - in fact such an exhibition is a feast for those who loves dogs, - all of them had an opportunity to address President RCF Alexander Inshakov who stayed at the stadium up to the end of the exhibition and didn't remain in proud loneliness even for a minute.

Indeed, this-year “Autumn legend” differs from previous ones very much. Certainly, according to a tradition, CASD were the biggest “team” there and it was unexpected for me that no representative of our domestic breeds got to “Best in Show”. But the exhibition organizers found a way of generous awarding owners of Central Asian sheep dogs that defeated in the most numerous ring. Prizes were given to the Best cub CASD BAYBURI SHANDI AMINA (owner I.Danilicheva, Moscow), that cub ranked third in Best in Show; the Best Junior ORTHODOX CONVENT TSUGUN (producer/owner  “Orthodox Convent”, Kolomna); the Best Asian - KHUB АК BASH (owner S.Marchenko, Ryazan).

Winners in competition of Asian pairs ORTHODOX CONVENT VARZOB and its daughter TSIGEN (owner “Orthodox Convent”, M.Legeyda) were also awarded prizes.

Great assistance was rendered during the preparation of the exhibition by Natalia and Alexander Burykin, owners of fine, titled "Asians" – winners of numerous exhibitions not only in Russia, but also abroad. And when Anna Belova, a very emotional and competent presenter of the exhibition, declared that the Burykins were awarded an honorable prize, there was a joyful storm of applause – the Burykins are famous among "old residents" of "Autumn legend”.

The weather also contributed much to good mood at the exhibition: not hot, but generous sun, light cool breeze – in short, very suitable weather for such a case; there was still green grass on the field, and an artificial covering along the edges of the stadium didn't prevent the dogs from moving freely. And, certainly, it was a miracle that the organizers of this, the 6^th “Autumn legend” exhibition managed to solve new problems. There were no habitual 2-3 rings with CASD and CSD, but a long sequence of dogs of different breeds and colours.

However, even dogs felt friendly mood of people, - they didn't choke with bark on the visitors carelessly walking among them and even didn’t attack their colleagues-congeners, that was especially untypical for them.

The club of animals’ fanciers “Blago Convent” at the Holy Trinity New Golutvin convent has grown appreciably for 6 years. First of all, in a professional sense. Sisters seriously comprehend not only elements, and a complete science of dog-breeding, and are trained basics of veterinary medicine. It allows them to deal with their unusual duty of obedience reasonably and exactingly.
